Tourniquet

A tourniquet is a tool used to stop a person from bleeding. If a person is cut or injured and losing a lot of blood from their body, a tourniquet can be used to stop the bleeding. It can save a person's life. There are different types of tourniquets. Each one works a little different, but the concept is the same.  What is similar about all tourniquets? Every tourniquet stops or slows blood from leaving the body.
