Worker, Employer, Employee

A worker is somebody who has a job and works. When people work for a company, they are called employees. The person or company the worker works for is called the employer. 

This is a cashier. She is working at a store. She is a worker at a store. If she works at Target, Target is the employer. If she works at Walmart, Walmart is the employer. The cashiers at stores like Walmart, Target, Aldi, Cub Foods, Aldi, and Walgreens, are employees. An employee is the person or the worker. The employer is the store, company, restaurant, or business. 













This is a construction worker. The construction worker is wearing PPE, personal and protective equipment. He is wearing gloves. He is wearing a red reflective vest. He is wearing a helmet on his head. He works outside and it looks like it is hot outside. He is wearing sunglasses to protect his eyes from the sun as he works. 


This is a server who works at a restaurant. He has a hamburger and fries. He takes people's orders, what they want to eat, and then brings the food from the order out to the guests at the restaurant. A server is another type of worker. His employer is the name of the place he works. If he works at McDonalds, Mcdonalds is his employer.
