Supports and Services
Support - If someone says they need help with English or help with the computer they might say, "Teacher, I have a question." The teacher then supports the student by helping them. When the teacher answers a student's question the student has been supported.
I need help is the same as I need your support.
Services - A service is when someone helps someone as their job. There are many types of services.
A server at a restaurant is someone who takes your order at and brings your food. They often ask, "Does everything taste alright?" or "How is everything tasting?" A server who has worked many years has a lot of customer service experience.
A librarian offers services to community members by helping them find books, other services in the community, or simply helping someone use a computer or printer.
