Qualified Professional - Sterile Procedures

Qualified Professional - Sterile Procedures.

A nurse is a qualified professional. This means that a nurse has gone to school to learn about how to do the tasks nurses do. Some nurses are qualified to do sterile procedures because they have learned how to do these procedures the right way.

Those working in CFSS/PCA can never perform sterile procedures because they have not taken the classes nurses have. You do not need to know what a sterile procedure is but just know that PCA/CFSS workers never do sterile procedures.

Qualified Professionals.

A doctor has to go to school for more years to become a doctor. They have more qualifications than a nurse. Some nurses have different qualifications than other nurses and can do some tasks other nurses cannot not do.

Teachers are also qualified professionals. Teachers in Minnesota have to have a four year degree and a K-12 teaching license to teach in public schools. Someone with only a high school diploma could not get a job as a teacher because they do not have a K-12 teaching license.

Some teachers in Minnesota teach immigrants and refugees from different countries English. A teacher who teaches adults English does not need a K-12 license but needs a certificate like the TEFL. Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Or a TESOL, Teaching English as a A Second or Other Language.

Another type of teacher may teach students with special needs. Special education students are different than students who are in large K-12 classes. These students need more help and support. These students are taught by a qualified teacher who teaches special education.

All three types of teachers have different qualifications for teaching different types of students with different needs. Not all students are the same. Many teachers will also get qualifications to teach different topics. An English teacher is different than a Math teacher . A k-12 teacher has a different qualification than someone with a TEFL certificate.

Can you think of any other qualified professionals that require certifications or higher education?
