Program
A program can mean two or three things. A program can mean a few things or a couple of things.
A teacher or a school might create a school program for a specific group of students. For example, the Hmong Cultural Center has many different programs. There is an ESL program for adult students who want to learn English. There is a kang (Qeej) program for children who want to learn how to play the kang (Qeej) instrument. There is also the citizenship program for the students who want to get their citizenship. A student who finishes the program and applies for citizenship will take a test and hopefully become a citizen.
A library may have programs for kids who want to read during the summer. For example, the Rondo Library has Summer Sparks which is a program that encourages students to continue reading during the summer when there are no classes in public schools.
There are also televisions programs that people can watch on TV.
This website is to help students who are taking the certificate programs at the Hmong Cultural Center. We offer the bloodborne pathogens certificate, CPR/First Aid certificate, and the PCA/CFSS training certificate. Once finished with the program, students will have all three certificates. Students can choose to have one or two certificates if they already have one certificate or do not want one of the certificates. This program is very flexible to meet the needs of the students.
